How does Venoruton work?

In patients with venous disorders, the small vessels show excessive leakage which causes swelling, Venoruton stabilizes the vascular wall, acting on the capillaries by reducing the leakage of water and other substances across the walls and subsequently reducing the swelling.

In case of hemorrhoids, Venoruton will reduce swelling around the anus and relieve symptoms such as swelling, itching and oozing.

Venoruton’s formula is plant-based, made from blossoms of the Japanese Pagoda Tree or Sophora Japonica. The leaves and buds of the pagoda tree are known for their anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing and anti-oxidant properties.

Active Ingredient
Oxerutin - or Obhydroxyethylrutoside, a standardized mixture of semi-synthetic flavonoids obtained through hydroxylation of the natural flavonols, rutin, also known as vascoprotectors.
Pharmaceutical form
Film-coated tablets
Dosage
Take 2 tablets per day and swallow with water. Dosage should be maintained until complete relief of symptoms and edema. Symptomatic relief should usually be felt within 2 weeks. If symtomps do not improve or worsens, the clinical situation should be evaluated. If necessary, treatment can be continued with the same daily dose, for up to 2-3 months. Treatment may be continued as maintenance therapy at the same dosage or at a minimum maintenance dosage of 500-600 mg Venoruton daily.
