How do Orofar lozenges act?
Orofar is particularly recommended for sore throats associated with colds, pharyngitis or laryngitis as well as stomatitis. It can be used for the relief of pain and discomfort caused by inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat (stomatitis, pharyngitis) or the gums (gingivitis).
Orofar has a dual action since it is fighting the pain and also the pathogenes causing the inflammation.
When Orofar is sucked the antiseptic active ingredient benzoxonium chloride acts directly in the mouth and throat against the bacteria and viruses, while the active ingredient Lidocaine relieves the pain.
