Degasin® is a medical device that improves intestinal and abdominal comfort in people affected by gastrointestinal problems linked to gas formation: bloating, flatulence and abdominal tension.
- It reduces gas, bloating and flatulence (this is an anti-foaming effect)
- it reduces gaseous shadows in the intestine
- It may also be used for preparation of diagnostic examinations in the abdominal area

Tolerability:
The medical device Degasin contains the effective ingredient simethicone. Simethicone is a physiologically active medicinal substance that reduces the tension of air bubbles in the digestive tract and helps their decomposition. Simethicone is not able to be absorbed into our bloodstream and is therefore safe for our bodies.
Application & Dosage:
In case of problems, take 1-2 capsules after each meal (lunch or dinner). Always with plenty of water. For use before a diagnostic examination, contact your doctor.
Warnings and precautions:
Concomitant administration of levothyroxine and simethicone may lead to decreased efficacy
of levothyroxine and thus decrease function of thyroid gland.
This medical device can be used by people with diabetes, as it does not contain sugar.
Since Simethicone is excreted unchanged through the digestion, pregnant and breastfeeding women are allowed to take the product. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this product. Safety of simethicone use during pregnancy has not been evaluated.
Possible side effects:
There is no known side effect of simethicone.
In the case of any side effect please inform manufacturer.
Ingredients:
Simethicone 280 mg, soft capsule shell: bovine gelatine, glycerol, water purified, titanium dioxide (E171), sunset yellow FCF (E110), azorubine (E122).
Do not use Degasin® capsule:
- in the case of known hypersensitivity to simethicone or to any of the ingredients
- in the case of known or suspected perforation or obstruction of digestive tract
- in children
