I’ve been a part of the EG family since 2007: in other words, for many years! And it never gets old. I’m also part of the marketing team. As a Graphical Communications Officer, I’m in charge of the graphical aspect of EG’s marketing material. In collaboration with the Brand Managers, I make sure that the lay out of leave behinds, visual aids and banners are all fine.
My work is challenging, variated and constantly evolving, which keeps things interested. Our product portfolio is always expanding, which also makes my job very interesting.
In these Corona times, the days are a bit different than in the office. I’m a MEP at home, a mother, a teacher,… In the meanwhile, everybody has found their ways and everything is running quite smoothly.
Morning

Morning
WE’RE STARTING EARLY!
7 o’clock – I start my day
Since I don’t have to drive to work anymore, I start my day early. Everyone is still asleep, and I’m making use of this time to read my emails and go through the projects. There’s an important communication that needs to be finished, so that’s my priority.
8 o’clock – The kids are waking up… And start working too
The kids are awake, I’m having breakfast with them.v After that, they can quietly wake up and prepare themselves for the day while I continue to work. Despite this situation, they still have homework, so I’m putting everyone to work. The older boys are in their rooms, and Gabriël is sitting with me at the table. The whole house is now working!

1 o’clock – Team meeting with Jef
First on the agenda this afternoon: a virtual team meeting with Jef. The entire marketing and sales team is present: great to see each other again!
Fortunately, the weather is nice and the kids can play outside. While they are enjoying the garden, I can concentrate on the team meeting.
2 o’clock – Back to work
The meeting is over, so I’m going back to work. I’m adapting something here and there, finishing some banners and starting new projects.
In the late afternoon, I get some company from Noé, who is doing his homework on the tablet while I continue my work.
The end of the day
