Other factors may also be issues. The body’s absorption of Vitamin C can be impaired by certain illnesses. Disorders like diabetes mellitus and certain medicines can affect the utilisation of the Vitamin C that is absorbed.

For that reason, Vitamin C provisions should be examined when such symptoms arise.
